At about the same time, UW System adopted a pilot of D2L ePortfolios. After evaluating the product, D2L ePortfolio was identified as an important part of the endeavor. Key benefits of the D2L ePortfolio are its integration with the Learning Environment and the tools within. Also, the customizability facilitated a way to create a pre-made template that all the students would use. Besides addressing technical issues, student confusion was addressed by revising documentation, offering more training, and communication with all the parties involved. These adjustments were a response to student feedback. Overall, the implementation was a success and will serve as a model for future implementations.
